Deep Dive: Solutions from the Circular City Challenge

The goal of the Circular City Challenge is to bring start-ups with innovative solutions for the circular economy together with participating cities, which includes a number of German cities and five municipalities in  Vienna. In this year’s challenge, over 120 innovators submitted their solutions to the challenges defined by the partner cities!

Andreas Ellenberger from Circonnact will be leading this Deep Dive. As the challenge’s coordinator in Vienna, he has been working together with partners in Munich, Berlin, Stuttgart, Hamburg and the Black Forest region to organize the Circular City Challenge for the second time. Andreas will be joined by the finalists from our region who submitted solutions in the areas of: the constructed environment, consumption and use, and energy and industry. We will also hear from representatives of the local government who are seeking circular solutions to implement here in Vienna.
