Digitalization has created countless new opportunities to track, analyze and reduce carbon emissions more efficiently. But how can companies and organizations best use digital tools and technologies as they strive towards climate neutrality—and what challenges stand in their way?
Join us for the Climate Lab Connect Day on 26 February as we shed light on these and other questions at our “Deep Dive: CO₂ accounting meets digitalization.” Together with experts, we will take a practical look at the opportunities and challenges of carbon accounting in the digital age, including:
- Reporting: Lucia Mack, sustainability manager for Klimaschutz&Du at Caritas Vienna, will provide insights into the implementation of CO₂ accounting, including challenges and best practices.
- Technological innovations: Lena Bernkopf and Philip Pilwarsch from Atlas Metrics will explore how digital solutions—from platforms to AI-powered tools—are revolutionizing CO₂ accounting.
- Political and financial frameworks: How standards, subsidies and legal requirements support organizations in reducing emissions.
In the run-up to the event, you are welcome to try out our co-working space alongside our community of climate innovators, and then we’ll end the day together with a round of networking at our Community Happy Hour.
