Climate Showcase: Wien Energie’s District Cooling Plant

The number of heatwaves in Vienna have risen dramatically in the last few decades, and Wien Energie has been working to expand its district cooling network as a more climate-friendly option to keep the city’s inhabitants cool. For this Climate Showcase, Wien Energie will take Climate Lab community members on a behind-the-scenes tour of its district cooling plant and go more in-depth on how it all works.
