Industry Circle: Green Procurement

Every year, 62 billion Euros are distributed in Austria for infrastructure and procurement projects at all levels of government – that’s approximately 18% of Austria’s gross domestic product. Such an enormous sum could be an extremely effective way to steer investment towards climate protection and circularity, however such measures must first be incorporated into the required tendering processes.

Climate Lab together with the Schiefer law firm are organizing this Industry Circle as an interactive workshop where representatives from across sectors can discuss the challenges and potential opportunities of integrating climate protection and circularity into tendering processes.
