Join us for a hands-on community workshop where we will build a raised garden bed from scratch and transform our courtyard into a greener, more inviting space. Especially, if you have never picked up a tool before, this event is for you – designed to be welcoming, practical, and inspiring.

Throughout the workshop, participants will work together to plan, measure, cut, assemble, and finish a wooden raised bed. The focus is not only on creating something useful for our community, but also on experiencing how accessible woodworking can be when the right tools and guidance are available – also and especially at school.

We will exclusively use tools that can also be used in schools. Teachers, educators, and anyone interested in hands-on learning will have the opportunity to see how simple woodworking projects can be safely and successfully carried out with children and young people. By working with age-appropriate tools and techniques, we hope to demonstrate that making and building can become a natural part of everyday learning.
