Join us at Climate Lab‘s exclusive screening of “Duty of Care” (OmU), a compelling documentary that shows how legal action can drive climate action where others have failed. We’ll be joined by special guests Mex Müllner and the CLAW Team for Climate Law.

“Duty of Care” tells the exclusive insider story of Roger Cox, the Dutch lawyer who brought groundbreaking climate lawsuits against the government and Shell, the oil and gas giant. These two landmark rulings sparked an international wave of successful climate lawsuits.

The climate crisis is escalating in Austria as well, yet we’re falling far short of all that needs to be done. A climate lawsuit before the European Court of Human Rights could change that. Mex Müllner’s case, Müllner v. Austria, demands that promises for the protection of our climate finally be fulfilled. A ruling can legally compel the government to act—not someday, but now.

Many people are still unaware of this case, but visibility is crucial. The more visible the lawsuit, the more leverage we have.

With popcorn in hand, we’ll connect what we’ve watched with the reality in Austria in an open space for shared discussion and reflection.

Limited seats available, so please reserve your ticket early!
