More and more companies are being asked to report on sustainability data, whether it’s by regulators, customers, suppliers or banks. However there are also efforts underway in the EU towards deregulation and curbing excessive reporting (i.e. CSRD or CSDDD), which makes it tempting to think, “Why not just wait until the storm has passed? Maybe my company won’t have to deal with all this reporting bureaucracy after all …”
Our answer is a clear “NO!” Collecting data on greenhouse gas emissions, biodiversity, water or energy consumption isn’t just necessary for legal compliance. This data is crucial for the long-term survival of any business in our rapidly changing economy.
In this workshop lead by the Klimaschutzakademie, experts will provide insights on impact measurement with a focus on climate and biodiversity. Through intensive and interactive exchange, participants will learn about and discuss good practices as well as challenges in impact measurement.
