We’re excited to invite you to a very special book club event! On Feb. 28, we will be joined by celebrated climate scientist Helga Kromp-Kolb to discuss her newest book, “Für Pessimismus ist es zu spät” (EN: It’s too late for pessimism). The book chronicles Ms. Kromp-Kolb’s 50-year fight for positive change brought to life by colorful personal stories. Together with Thomas Geiger, policy and advocacy lead at Gemeinwohlökonomie Österreich, Ms. Kromp-Kolb will share her insights on climate change, the justified worries of the younger generation and the failures of contemporary politics.
We invite you to take part in this special event, especially if you’ve already read the book. Regardless, if you’re looking for inspiration from an experienced change maker, come and join in on the discussion.
For the Book Club event series, you are invited to “bring a friend.” It is not required to have read the book in order to participate … but you’ll probably want to afterwards!
