Inside the COP 28

This is your chance to get inside the COP28. Two youth delegates from CliMates will give an insider’s view of what really happens on the floor of one of the world’s largest climate conferences and share insights on their participation in international climate politics.

Elvira Lutter of the Austrian Climate and Energy Funds and Lena Rauter of CliMates Austria will share their experiences and insights on topics such as:

• Why the COP conference is such a significant forum on a global level and how it developed;
• Where the COP28 belongs in the context of previous climate summits and the influence it has on the climate agendas of participating nations;
• The expectations of the young delegates and how they changed during the summit;
• Which topics were on the agenda, the progress made and new goals that were set;
• The overall experience of being at the conference and interacting with other participants.
