- Youth Delegates, CliMates: Two youth delegates who will be representing CliMates Austria at COP29 will share their expectations of the planned agenda and their priorities and visions for meaningful climate action. CliMates is a vibrant NGO led by young changemakers influencing climate policy, driving climate education and advocating for impactful solutions.
- Carl Frederick Luthin, Future Matters: Carl will present Future Matters’ findings from their recent prioritization study on the most effective—but underrated—EU climate policies at the global level.
- Damien Plant, Sustain & Develop: Fresh from attending the Biodiversity COP, Damien will share his insights on the role biodiversity plays in the global climate agenda, and how this could serve as a basis for the upcoming COP conference.
This event aims to provoke a well-rounded discussion around the upcoming COP29, providing you with the opportunity to better understand what’s at stake and the potential impact of the global climate policies that could emerge from the conference.
