Navigating the Voluntary Carbon Market:
High-Integrity Natural Climate Solutions, Trends, Challenges, and Innovations with Edit Kiss

On 16th January, Darshini Waibel, Founder of Greenpertise, will host an Open Space at 12 pm. Join a Greenpertise Expert Talk with Edit Kiss from Capital Continuum Advisers. Edit is visiting us from London and brings over 18 years of experience in carbon finance, impact investing, and conservation. She has been active in the global carbon markets since 2006, working with project developers and stakeholders across more than 45 countries, including regions in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

Can we trust nature-based climate solutions?

Carbon credits have faced criticism due to concerns that many projects overestimate their emission reductions or may inadvertently cause environmental and social harm. In this microlearning session, we will delve into the global nature-based voluntary carbon markets, distinguishing them from compliance and technology-based credits. Attendees will gain insights into assessing blue carbon credits across different geographies and their performance in financial markets.

Greenpertise addresses complex sustainability questions by connecting global experts with governments and companies, and is excited to engage with the Climate Lab community in this interactive session
