Designing can be so much fun! Why do we forget that? As we were batting around ideas for our new workshop room (under construction as we speak!), we decided to try something different. We had the basic ingredients—people, chairs, a little tech. But what if …
… what if Hundertwasser—who was the inspiration for the overall design of Climate Lab—had free reign here? Mosaics, organic shapes and bright colors started to appear.
… what if we invited in other life forms to join the humans? The potential of plants and greenery suddenly bloomed.
… what if we needed to widen our perspective? Step to the window and be inspired by the expansive views of Vienna below.
These were just ideas. Maybe not great … but maybe not so bad either. What really mattered though, is that we stopped limiting ourselves to finding the perfect solution. We gave ourselves space to explore and discover, to play and laugh. Only time will tell whether any of the sketches will become reality, but I’m convinced that the final design will be wonderful. Why? Because it was made with joy.
